Preparation:

  1. Ensure surface is clean and dry. For best results wash and wax your motor-vehicle before use.
  2. Apply AutoSKIN to a cooled car, in a dry, mild climate out of direct sunlight.
  3. Shake bottle well.
  4. Use a foam sponge roller or a paint roller that is clean and dry ( or is already soaked with AutoSKIN).

Application:

  1. Squeeze AutoSKIN directly onto surface and spread evenly with roller. For best result start with a large flat surface to enable AutoSKIN to ‘work’ into the roller.
  2. Create a neat edge at border of application by using edge of roller.

If you want to protect over gaps or crevices you must apply several coats and ensure that:
a: it is a junction that can be accessed when removing ( eg. Bonnet edge, door edge).
b: the gap or crevice is very tight such as at junctions with hard rubber seals.
c: large inaccessible gaps that allows water to flow behind them are avoided, such as location at side guards and bumper features.

Removal:

  1. Ensure vehicle has cooled down.
  2. Apply water to the entire AutoSkin membrane.
  3. Start at one corner and carefully peel off.
  4. Use additional water to aid release.
  5. Wash surface with soapy water.
  6. High pressure water spary will remove difficult sections of AutoSKIN.
  7. Methylated Spirits will also assist in removing difficult area or where AutoSKIN was paint to thin.
